The hosts were notably welcoming, and their assistance in navigating the area enriched my experience. The hotel provides a clean and spacious environment, reflected in our comfortable room, which offered a glimpse of the iconic castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. A personal highlight was enjoying a coffee on our balcony while absorbing the stunning mountain views. The proximity to key attractions was ideal; a mere 10-minute drive brought us to the castles, while the picturesque Maria Bridge, just a five-minute walk away, boasts breathtaking views of the Pollat Falls and the nearby castle. Safety measures, such as smoke detectors and first aid kits, showcased a thoughtful commitment to guest well-being. This hotel serves as a fine option for travelers seeking a bit of local character without the frills of a larger city hotel.
